The Program :
We know that returning to work can be scary and understand that life at times requires you to take a break whether planned or not. Re-start Program is a platform that enables women who have taken a career break to return to the corporate world. It provides them a plethora of career options to choose from. This program aims to bring talented women back into the workplace after a career break. Our commitment is to ensure that our employees are drawn from diverse communities and societies, our ambition is to be one of the best employers for women in the world is central to that commitment.
The Re-start Program is designed to attract women who have left the workplace for several years (in most cases to raise a family) and would like to return to work on a full-time basis. The program will complement other S&P Global Diversity and Inclusion initiatives focused on encouraging and supporting women in the workplace.
The Impact: This role is essential for the Market Intelligence Division of S&P to drive innovation and the deployment of cutting-edge technology to both enhance existing functions and power new opportunities. S&P has an ambitious and compelling Ai strategy that you would be directly enabling.

Responsibilities:
Developing, construct, test, and maintain data-driven applications on the front and back end with an emphasis on Data Science, Ai, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Participate in team efforts to implement software projects, providing support in frontend and backend layers
Engage with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and help in translating them into technical specifications for effective software solutions.
Adhere to best practices in data management and governance, maintaining awareness of data privacy and security policies.
Contribute to the identification, design, and implementation of process improvements.
Understanding what best in class looks like and how to stay on top
What we’re looking for:
Python software engineering skills.
Data engineering and ETL experience in production environments
2-5years experience insoftware development: Expertise in debugging, refactoring, and enhancing existingcode, with a strong understanding of performance and scalability.
University degree in a relevant field
A commitment to test-driven development
Curiosity and drive for continuous learning and exploration
Strong communication and collaboration skills. The team will be collocated, however, most stakeholder engagement will happen asynchronously in English
