The Team:

This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding corporate security role during a time of great change and challenge.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Perform high-profile yet soft-touch executive protection, both domestically and abroad to company leadership.

  • Lead on all aspects of trip planning, execution, and logistics. To include security plans creation for all trips, events, and off-site events.

  • Expand and develop an in-depth knowledge of emerging security threat actors through open source, social media, and deep & dark web monitoring.

  • Assist in the implementation of SOPs, protocols and polices for all protection and risk reduction activities.

  • Provide regular support to the Security Intelligence team and other relevant groups, when needed.

  • Confidentially perform regular threat, vulnerability and risk assessments, in collaboration with internal and external resources.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,379 USD to $150,00 USD. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, as a minimum.

  • Experience performing executive protection activities across a range of settings.

  • Keen knowledge and understanding of the external security and risk landscapes.

  • Professionally engage with senior leadership and board members with confidence.

  • Be able to carry a firearm in the United States - HR218 certified.

  • Hold or the ability to achieve Federal Armed Security Officer (ASO) certification.

  • Travel domestically and internationally from overnight to multiple days.

  • Excellent written, briefing and presentation skills; to be tested at interview.

  • Keen attention to detail and ability to think clearly during fluid events.

  • Maintain the highest level of client confidentially and integrity.

  • Demonstrated sense of personal ownership and accountability.

  • Independently maintain a high level of physical fitness and personal appearance.

  • Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.

  • Demonstrate sound operational judgment to shifting priorities and challenges.

  • Holds a valid U.S. driver’s license.

  • 24/7 availability, including ability to support weekends, holiday and afterhours work

  • This role will require daily physical presence in the New York office.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of law enforcement, military, or government experience.

  • Strong understanding of the financial markets and corporate structures.

  • Professional member of ASIS, with PSP, CPP or other specialized EP training.

  • Familiarity with private aviation, fixed base operations (FBOs) and airport security.

  • Demonstrable experience of working abroad.

  • Defensive driving tactics training/experience.

  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification. (American Red Cross, AHA, etc.)
