The Impact:

The Manager, Commercial is the lead role for Ahmedabad Commercial Operations to cater and support all strategic initiatives around operations. You will manages programs and initiatives that span across functions, businesses, and geographies to achieve strategic objectives. An internal change leader dedicated to creating new, innovative, dynamic employee experiences and engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in co-ordination with the India Commercial site leads and functional managers to drive the strategic initiatives, and also support the Commercial mission towards our Customer Journey.

  • Work with global functional leaders to develop strategies and demonstrate links between engagement and their strategic goals.

  • Manages Operations support for a range of activities.

  • Involved with hiring for Commercial roles, and ensuring effective on-boarding for the new hires.

  • Designs, implements, and monitors the progress of initiatives, milestones and budgets to ensure timeliness and deliverables are met.

  • Provide mentoring and coaching to Commercial Eventsquare team to strengthen the value chain and identify events.

  • Research and analyze best practices across all industries to ensure our initiatives are competitive and incorporate best in practice ideas to create meaningful changes in engagement and recognition approaches.

  • Conduct employee focus groups to complement engagement surveys. Share the feedback from Employee Focus Groups and suggested actions.

  • Engaging with new hires during their first 45 days with the organization and learn more about the work experience, identifying areas which they like most about the onboarding process and discover what they dislike about the job & environment. Catalog the collected information with essential recommendation and share required inputs on set frequency.

  • Identifying the key drivers of engagement and design best practices to elevate the overall employee experience.

  • Being proactive towards identifying the challenges and recommending appropriate solutions.

    • Enablement towards having proper processes - tools to support the operations and able to meet the business deliverables.
  • Partnering towards skill development initiatives, identifying the gaps and designing appropriate programs.

  • Work closely with the on-ground functional leaders to implement site wide initiatives, track progress and share feedback.

  • Work with Commercial managers across India in driving the strategic initiatives that supports the overall vision.

  • Extending support beyond Ahmedabad site, and identifying opportunities for scale of operations.

  • Developing the technical acumen towards new and emerging technology, and suggesting ways for implementation and building the expertise within the teams.

  • Will act as ambassador for the LEAN and AGILE culture.

  • Work closely with the marketing & branding team to document and share employee engagement stories both internally and externally.

  • Develop creative strategies for communicating across a broad range of stakeholders, leading content, channels and campaigns that engage employees.

  • Identify and analyze business and audience needs to deliver messages via the most appropriate mix of media and channels.

What we re looking for:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master s Degree in Finance, Economics or related business field.

  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of professional experience.

    • Demonstrated ability to move forward an agenda and - or initiative.
  • Strong execution capabilities and very effective communication and collaboration skill.

  • Strong experience in working in positive partnership with leaders of all levels and colleagues to drive results.

    • Experience interacting with all levels of management - staff and across organizational lines.
  • Excellent influencing, leadership, communication skills - particularly within matrix style organizations.

  • Experience in presenting and engaging to different audiences & cultures verbally, in writing and in presentation formats.

  • Experience working with detailed information and numerical data that is easy to understand by stakeholders of all levels.

    • Experience in change management and project - program and event management.
  • Analytical skill to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement, trend analysis, etc.

  • Strong attention to detail, solid organizational and project management skills.

  • Flexible working in rotational shifts, including night shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Excel and SQL would be an added advantage.
