The Team:
The appointed candidate will join the AMER Dividend Forecasting team, tasked with generating dividend forecasts for a portfolio of stocks. This involves conducting detailed research and financial analysis of company fundamentals. Additionally, the team is accountable for delivering ad-hoc customer-driven research, thematic reports, and offering customer support.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Examine and update dividend announcements within the AMER region
Analyse company fundamentals to generate dividend forecasts for AMER stocks
Produce dividend research papers spanning sectors, countries, and regions
Track news updates to evaluate the influence of market events on companies and their dividends
Assess corporate actions and index rebalancing associated with dividends, such as mergers, stock splits, bonus issues, etc.
Take part in ETFs' dividend forecasting and operational activities
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
The candidate should possess a solid comprehension of equities and capital markets
A strong interest in financial news, market events, and their knowledge is essential
Proficiency in English language, financial statement analysis and equity derivatives is required
1-2 years of applicable work experience is preferred, with flexibility to adapt to evolving business requirements
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree, CFA certification, or equivalent post-graduate study
