The Role:

Project Manager, Global Business Services

The Location:

Charlottesville, Virginia

The Impact:

You will provide project management support for a broad range of financial operations projects including Order to Cash, Accounts Payable, T&E, Sourcing and Procurement, Contract Management, Vendor Governance, Record to Report - General Accounting and Financial Systems Security with a focus on complex and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with Managers and Leadership Teams, ensuring all deliverables are completed as agreed and on time.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Managing critical and strategic Finance operations projects

  • Ensuring projects meet anticipated savings or efficiency goals

  • Build and maintain all project artifacts in accordance with PMO standard methodologies

  • Drafting project charters, define and maintaining project plans, maintaining partner engagement, projecting tracks and resources needs for related projects

  • Facilitating meetings including daily stand-ups, issue resolution, and project status meetings

  • Dig into complicated technical details surrounding infrastructure requirements

  • Work with technical leads to resolve infrastructure issues

  • Support change management process

  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance, Business Divisions, and Program Managers

  • Lead large-scale projects that directly impact the day-to-day operations of our internal employees as well as end users

  • Experience with keeping multiple projects moving while managing partner expectations and interacting with technical resources


  • 5 years relevant business, operations, and - or GBS experience with in-depth knowledge of Project Management practices, principles, concepts, framework and methodologies

    • Bachelor s degree

    • Demonstrated experience in strategic activities and leading cross-functional projects

  • Ability to build constructive relationships, influence, and communicate across various organizational teams, both technical and business focused

  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • Experience working in a collaborative environment

  • Experience in operational improvement

  • Strategic mindset & reciprocal approach with the willingness to be hands-on

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with senior management
