thinkFolio is a multi-asset investment management platform which mitigates risk, increase operational efficiency and supports decision making by Investment Managers while EDM (Enterprise Data Management) is a data management platform for acquiring, validating and distributing trade, operational, risk, financial and customer data. It creates a single version of truth in a consistent, transparent and fully audited environment. Both of these services area used by a large number of the world’s largest and most varied financial institutions. Supported by global Commercial, Technology, Product and Customer Success teams, the Client Engagement team bring the voice of the customer back to the internal table.

Responsibilities and Impact:

S&P is looking for a client orientated individual to join the Client Engagement team covering the EDM and thinkFolio product offerings. Client Engagement Managers are critical to representing the customer voice within S&P and representing S&P to the customer - it is a trusted and crucial function within the Business.

The Client Engagement Team is responsible for proactively fostering meaningful relationships with clients to identify opportunities for leveraging the company's products, ensuring they achieve their objectives and derive maximum value from the services provided.

This team acts as the primary point of contact for non-commercial relationship management with clients.

  • Partnering with clients to understand their needs and objectives

  • Scheduling regular meetings monthly or quarterly as appropriate with a clear agenda including roadmap / upgrades / new functionality that is relevant

  • Providing transparency to internal stakeholders in Sales, Product, Commercial regarding client feedback, issues, renewal risks and opportunities

  • Following up on actions from client engagement meetings and closing the feedback loop

  • Understanding client workflows and product usage

  • Increasing product adoption and usage among clients

  • Collaborating with sales to schedule client meetings and demos.

  • Acting as a point of escalation for Support, Product or Project workstreams

  • Maintaining knowledge of contract details, pricing, and terms.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $ 91,318.00 to $160,454.50. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Education and experience

  • Candidate to be degree educated

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills with acute attention to detail

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable conducting business analysis and working with clients to understand their requirements

  • Proactive and able to work independently

  • Ability to listen, learn quickly and demonstrate initiative

  • Prepare presentations and present to clients and internal audiences

Communication

  • Must be an excellent written and verbal communicator

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Able to easily adapt communication style in different situations

  • Ability to speak another language (preferred) but not essential

Teamwork

  • ‘Can do’ attitude to challenges and proven team working ability

  • Highly motivated, disciplined, confident and a team player. The ability to adjust to shifting priorities is a must

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
