The Team:
Lending Solutions form the industry standard, web-based platform dedicated to automating the lifecycle of trades in the global loan markets. The loan settlement platform simplifies trade settlement by providing a fully digitized, integrated, collaborative, real-time platform for buyers, sellers, service providers and agent banks to capture, acknowledge, and settle primary and secondary market loan trades. It provides secure messaging solutions to improve settlement liquidity and efficiency in the loan markets, facilitates post-trade automation, and provide real-time reporting based on the status of open and historical trades. The Impact:
We are seeking a bright, self-motivated Data Engineer to join our Technology team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of working in a team delivering successful solutions to complex data challenges in the financial space.
The candidate will be expected to have a deep understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT batch and stream processes, data modelling, and experience with business intelligence tools. The candidate will work and will regularly interact with a diverse set of colleagues, including product, development, infrastructure and DevOps, and be responsible for the hand-on design, build-out and deployment of a business intelligence solution in AWS.

Responsibilities:
Participate in architecture and design efforts.
Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain stable, secure and scalable data engineering solutions and pipelines in support of our data and business intelligence infrastructure initiatives.
Develop real-time and batch data ingest pipelines to be used for analysis, dashboards, alerts, reporting and visualizations using data from our products and other sources.
Produce scalable, replicable code for automating the ETL/ELT pipelines.
Implement and monitor the best-in-class security measures.
What We’re Looking For:
Must have a degree in Computer Science or relevant technology related field. An equivalent of this educational requirement in working experience is also acceptable.
7+ Years of experience in data engineering and related fields
Candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and creating an ETL/ELT data pipeline.
Candidate should be experienced in Postgre SQL (nice to have)
Candidate should have hands-on experience in advanced SQL development.
Familiarity with the concepts of NoSQL, Big Data, columnar databases.
Candidate must have a thorough understanding of the architecture, data structures and fundamental design principles of the data warehouse.
Candidate should have experience in performance tuning and optimization of data warehouse processes and queries to improve overall system efficiency.
Experience in AWS Glue (nice to have)
Candidate should have experience in Python data libraries like Pandas, NumPy
Develop reports using Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) from a variety of data sources including Analysis Services Cubes and relational databases.
Familiar with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, AWS QuickSight
Demonstrated ability to learn new techniques and troubleshoot code without support.
