S&P Global Outbound Operations Analyst in Gurgaon, India

The Team: The Content Partnerships team is S&P’s center of excellence for on-boarding, managing and developing outbound partnerships across the firm.

Our primary focus is effective execution of the company’s strategy to drive revenue generation through a broad and diverse range of partnerships including, Information Service Providers, Exchanges, Clearers and Trading Venues, Technology Vendors and Consulting firms.

We leverage partnerships to support client requirements for seamless access to our products, services and capabilities. Partnerships also help us to establish connectivity for data integration and processing and enable the deployment of software and managed solutions.

The Impact: Primarily focusing on the Operations pillar of Outbound, you will assist in the tracking, reporting and invoice processing for all our Outbound partners who subscribe to/license S&P Global data. Our team uses best practices and enterprise thinking, to manage our relationships with our Partners.

  • You will analyze clients’ business needs and develop solutions and process improvements to maintain and grow business.

Responsibilities:

You will primarily be responsible for supporting ongoing requirements related to managing partner relationships post signature of the agreement(s) with the partner.

  • Create and maintain the Partners’ list for scheduled reports.

  • Follow up/Track Partner reports and manage resolution/escalation of any reporting related issues.

  • Monitor and liaise with finance regarding any billing amendments/issues.

  • Monitor, update and save reports in our repository/shared drive.

  • Monitor and respond to internal sales/product and external Partner inquiries in a timely manner or escalate immediately.

  • Produce Common Customer Analysis on a quarterly basis for all the Outbound Partners.

  • Work with internal teams on process/workflow improvement.

  • Identify opportunities to better document workflows, projects, and documentation in a centralized medium such as the Intranet site (SharePoint). Work with manager for mentorship on execution.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant/total experience.

  • Familiar with Salesforce application, navigation and operation

  • Create and produce the Salesforce reports, maintenance of accounts/opportunities

  • Comfortable liaising with internal stakeholders and external Partners.

  • Proactive and quick learner.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Website information population, etc. This position will frequently work within Word for contractual review, Excel for reporting, Outlook for mail & calendar.

  • Attention to detail, follow-through on projects and multi-tasking skills a must.

  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with any background (preferably in financial information and market data and/or accounting/finance).

  • Strong Interpersonal verbal and written communications skills

  • Experience working with large global teams would be an advantage.

  • Excellent organizational and team building skills. Must be highly organized and self-directed with the ability to work independently and adapt to change.

  • Understanding of Data Partnership Operations including Market Data Administration.

  • Working knowledge of Account Payables, invoice validation, reconciliation, and payment processing.

  • Generate MIS reports on relationships with service providers.

  • Ability to create meaningful data reports customized to multiple stakeholder requirements for budgeting, forecasting and reconciliation efforts.

  • Working knowledge of data reporting and visualization tools like Power BI, Power Automate and Tableau.
