The Team:

Lending Solutions form the industry standard, web-based platform dedicated to automating the lifecycle of trades in the global loan markets. The loan settlement platform simplifies trade settlement by providing a fully digitized, integrated, collaborative, real-time platform for buyers, sellers, service providers and agent banks to capture, acknowledge, and settle primary and secondary market loan trades. It provides secure messaging solutions to improve settlement liquidity and efficiency in the loan markets, facilitates post-trade automation, and provide real-time reporting based on the status of open and historical trades. The wider business includes the leading global site for loan position reconciliation as well as secure wire instructions / administrative details, making our team a highly desirable environment for technology professionals interested in working for the global leader in the syndicated loan ecosystem.

The Impact:

We are seeking a bright, self-motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for hands-on build-out, configuration, deploy, scale, orchestration and monitoring the supporting infrastructure and our release pipeline for global commercial software platforms. Candidate must be comfortable in driving Continuous Integration / Deployment initiatives in the cloud.

This position demands an experienced and driven DevOps Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-value, high-impact solutions to the world’s most demanding, high-profile clients. Incumbent should have expertise in leading the development and deployment of native cloud-based solutions, possess a passion for container-based technologies, immutable infrastructure, and continuous delivery practices in deploying global software.

Responsibilities:

  • Design deployment models for scalable, highly available, secure, and fault tolerant systems on AWS for the development and test lifecycle of AWS Cloud Native solutions

  • Define, organize, and structure configuration and management of entire AWS environment for usage with web applications, ETL solutions and efficient egress and ingress of large data volumes.

  • Contribute to application design and architecture, especially as it relates to AWS services

  • Collaborate closely with the Technical Architects by providing input into the overall solution architecture

  • Implementation of end-to-end DevOps technologies and processes i.e., containerization, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, metrics, monitoring etc. 

  • Experience of networks, security, load balancers, DNS and other infrastructure components and their application to cloud (AWS) environments

  • Passion for problem solving and taking on challenging issues

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure, and applications from a DevOps perspective

  • Deep knowledge of AWS especially with services like ECS/Fargate, ECR, S3/CloudFront, Load Balancing, Lambda, VPC, Route 53, RDS, CloudWatch, EC2 and AWS Security Center

  • Expertise in managing AWS security groups

  • Expertise in building scalable infrastructure in AWS

  • Expertise with one or more AWS SDKs and/or CLI

  • Expertise in Automation, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles

  • Experience with Docker containers

  • Experience with operational tools and ability to apply best practices for infrastructure and software deployment

  • Software design fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design and performance analysis 

  • Experience working in an Agile Development environment 

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a similar major or Certified Development Program 

  • 3+ years of experience managing AWS application environment and deployments.

  • 6+ years of experience working in a development organization.
