About the Role: Application Administration Specialist (Infosphere)
The Team : The DTS Middleware Platform Engineering team collaborates closely with the CI and MI business divisions to manage the end-to-end governance of the IBM Infosphere platform hosted on AWS cloud. We understand the ETL project requirements and primarily focus on platform modernization, project sizing, automation, version upgrades, migrations, and other related tasks. Additionally, we provide comprehensive guidance and support to Wipro (L1/L2) on their day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities and Impact :
Designing the IBM InfoSphere/IBM Cloud pak for Data Architecture, installation, and support guides in alignment with IT security policies.
Designing the Devops ETL -Mettle CI Architecture, installation, and support guides in alignment with IT security policies.
Understand the ETL project requirements work on project sizing, automation and project governance
Offering L3 and above support for issues related to the DataStage product.
Provide comprehensive guidance and support to Wipro (L1/L2) on their day-to-day operations.
Innovating new tools and processes to enhance the efficient utilization of the DataStage product
Designing and scaling the environment appropriately.
Apply patches ,version upgrades, migrations, and other related tasks.
Monitoring and analyzing audit usage data to ensure optimal and efficient infrastructure performance
Proficiency in platform modernization (serverless computing/microservices function), project management, and automation tools
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure

Scope to work not only on IBM InfoSphere/IBM Cloud Pak for Data but also on IICS Informatica(SAS), another prominent data integration product.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in Infosphere administration, specializing in IBM Cloud Pak for Data/IBM Infosphere 11.7.
Experience implementing DevOps automation, specifically Mettle CI, for IBM Infosphere.
Familiarity with AWS Cloud services, Containerization, and Microservices architecture.
Basic administration skills in Linux, including proficiency in Shell scripting.
Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) principles.
Knowledge of ITIL Change Control processes, Incident Management, and Cybersecurity.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
Candidates should possess a graduate degree or higher.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services).
Proficiency in Python Scripting and Terraform Scripting.
Foundational knowledge of databases including Oracle, SQLServer, and DB2.
