  • Technical Lead of a team of data engineers and ML engineers working on cutting edge technologies

  • Working with senior management to build a high performing team working on complex problems that deliver results

  • Constantly learn from and educate others to improve yourself and the project.

  • Work closely with various stakeholders to collect, clean, model and visualise datasets.

  • Create data driven insights by researching , designing and implementing ML models to deliver insights and implement action-oriented solutions to complex business problems

  • Drive ground-breaking ML technology within the Modelling and Data Science team.

  • Extract hidden value insights and enrich accuracy of the datasets.

  • Leverage technology and automate workflows creating modernized operational processes aligning with the team strategy.

  • Understand, implement, manage and maintain analytical solutions & techniques independently.

  • Establish high performing, globally integrated and innovative mindset in the team culture

  • Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Software/Data/ML Engineer.

  • 3+ years of experience leading software development teams

  • University degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data science or related disciplines

  • Ability to do research, identify, analyze data enrichments and presenting findings.

  • Experience of statistical models and data analysis methods.

  • Experience with applying Machine Learning techniques to big data.

  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver creative solutions and automated workflows

  • Experience of working on end-to-end data science pipelines: problem scoping, data gathering, EDA, modelling, insights, visualizations , monitoring and maintenance

  • Experience working with various Data Science

  • Experience with data automation using analytics skills like Python programming, Machine Learning

  • Strong communications to build a constructive working relationship with various technology partners, stake holders and other internal/ external users.

  • Experience of building high quality solutions and leading processes in the Agile working environment; understanding of Visual studio (VSTS)

  • Nice to have Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience working with Oil, gas and energy markets is desirable but not essential

  • Experience working with BI Visualization applications (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is preferable but not essential

  • Understanding of cloud-based services is desirable, preferably AWS, but not essential

  • Experience working with Unified analytics platforms like Databricks is beneficial

  • Experience with deep learning and related toolkits: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.

  • Knowledge of the energy industry, understanding the different challenges and potential
