Role: Fullstack developer (.NET, Angular, Cloud technologies)

The Impact: This role is essential for the Markit Intelligence Group of S&P as it ensures the development of new software solutions and continuous improvement and stability of our existing applications. Role will enable our clients with seamless user experience and access to up-to-date data, bolstering their confidence in our services and reinforcing our competitive position in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement transactional and multi-tiered web applications.

  • Engage in full stack development, from front-end user interfaces to database systems.

  • Contribute to software architecture, development processes, and standards discussions and decisions.

  • Participate actively in our Scrum process: Standups, Refinements, Planning, Retrospectives, Demos.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of application development experience.

  • Proficiency in the following technologies:

  • Angular 2+ and other MV* UI frameworks.

  • C# and .Net Core, including ASP.Net Core.

  • SQL Server/PostgreSQL in Windows/Linux environments.

  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.

  • Experience in Agile Development environments.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Experience:

  • Proficiency in AWS or Azure cloud technologies.

  • Experience with Docker and containerization.

  • Advanced knowledge in OOP/OOD, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.

  • Familiarity with data access frameworks like Entity Framework, ADO.NET.

  • Experience with front-end technologies and tools like Webpack, RxJS, ngrx/store, Jasmine, Karma.

  • Understanding of Redux, Flux design patterns, and Dependency Injection frameworks like MEF, Unity.

  • Experience with integration technologies, particularly Web Services and Microservices.

  • Knowledge of UML or similar design languages/methodologies.

  • Proficiency in HTML5, Lambda expressions (LINQ), CSS, LESS, Bootstrap, SPA.

  • Experience with tools like GitHub, Jira, Confluence, TFS, TeamCity, Artifactory, Docker, Splunk.

  • Experience working with offshore teams.

  • Knowledge of the Financial domain is a plus.
