The Impact:

The Product Owner for Market Intelligence Sustainability will work as part of an Agile team to work on various Sustainability data projects.

You will collaborate with other product owners and lead the execution of roadmap priorities. You will play a crucial role in meeting with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to learn the domain, gather requirements, and document user stories. You will be responsible for the backlog, working closely with your team through standard Agile methodologies to ensure successful delivery of architecture and features.

Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively communicate progress, risks, and blockers to project leads and stakeholders where needed.

Responsibilities :

• Document user stories, acceptance criteria, and other relevant information to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the features being developed.

• Take ownership of the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure that the scrum team understands the requirements and goals for each sprint.

• Conduct regular meetings with your agile scrum team, following Agile best practices, to facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Work closely with SMEs and stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into clear and concise user stories.

• Collaborate with the scrum team during development to provide clarifications, answer questions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Continuously monitor the progress of development, identifying and communicating risks, issues, and blockers to relevant Product Managers and business partners.

• Prioritize tasks and make data-driven decisions to maximize the value delivered by the scrum team with each sprint.

• Participate in sprint reviews and retrospectives, gather feedback from stakeholders, and use insights to improve future sprints and product iterations.

• Foster a collaborative and transparent environment, promoting effective communication and alignment between the scrum team, stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• At least 3 years of digital or technical workflow experience, as a Product Owner or in a similar role, a plus if in a technical environment.

• At least 3 years of Agile experience or a demonstrable understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar backlog management tools.

• Familiarity with project management tools and software development lifecycle methodologies.

• Ability to break down technical issues into easily digestible data points for stakeholder consumption

• Familiarity with database concepts, data management, and technical product development processes.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• A passion for driving continuous improvement and delivering value; be proactive and self-driven.

• Knowledge of database management, IT governance frameworks, d privacy regulations, and security best practices is a plus
