What s in it for you:

The Technology Manager will be part of India leadership team and help drive deeper employee engagement and providing ground leadership. He will be partner at the ground for Dev - Engineering managers and help manage the team focused on service delivery, talent and resource management, aligning to our overall technology strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Help drive strategic initiative and BAU in a timely manner in collaboration with Engineering Managers and other stakeholders.

  • Promote an organization that is focused on outstanding customer service, high performance, teamwork, and accountability.

  • Provide Effective leadership and exercise local day to day management of assigned staff

  • Ensure roles and responsibilities are well defined with clearly identified goals, objectives and process in place.

  • Leadership on talent acquisition, talent development and employee engagement.

  • Collaborate with global technology leadership, regional leadership and cross-functional teams

  • Contribute to and support S&P enterprise architecture, strategic roadmaps, transformation from current state to future state

  • Effectively interact with customers, business users and IT staff.

  • Work on new initiatives and support existing platts applications.

What we re looking for:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 plus years of IT experience in application development and support with atleast 3 years in Leadership position.

  • Strong experience with either .net or Java, J2EE, JMS and related technologies

  • Strong Agile practitioner.

  • Experience architecting and developing large scale enterprise applications

    • Good understanding of User Interface design & development using Angular JS, JQuery - Ext JS, HTML5 & CSS.
  • Experience with SQL and no SQL database technologies.

  • Experience with spring framework.

    • Working knowledge of DevOps:*

    Git, Jenkins, CI - CD pipelines, etc.

  • Experience using system tools, source control systems, utilities and third-party products.

  • Innovative, self-motivated and self-directed with keen attention to detail, exceptional service orientation and the ability to motivate others in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Exceptional organizational skills.

  • Experience mentoring team members.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience.

  • Experience with no SQL database technologies.

    • Knowledge of Azure or AWS related technologies:*

    Docker, container s etc

  • Knowledge of Graph databases, Natural Language Processing, AI, Machine Learning and Big Data.

  • Experience with distributed computation frameworks (e.g. Spark etc.)
