The Role: Senior Developer (ReactJS)

The Grade: 10

The Team:

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer with skills who will contribute and lead the application development of the product. Candidate should understand product vision and should be able to analyze requirements, design and implement enterprise level applications and follow agile methodology in a scrum environment.

The Impact:

In the Developer role, you will make a significant contribution in building solutions for next generation product working across data, API, web, and services platforms. Your challenge will be to reduce “time to market” for products without compromising quality whereby developing innovative functionality in existing and new products and supporting and maintaining high revenue productionized products. You will use a wide range of technologies and interact with different internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product and business teams to define our product, balancing features with time to market.

  • Design and implement a web application using ReactJS that interfaces with existing backend APIs

  • Create a scalable, testable, documented application so that we can grow the product over time using SOLID principles.

  • Keep up with technology changes in our space and leverage them when appropriate

  • Work independently to delivery software on time

  • Document all aspect of your work

  • Train, mentor and collaborate with other team members to ensure our teams maintain high standards

  • Participate in product design, offer new ideas and understand that not every idea will be adopted

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of work experience building web applications with evidence of exceptional ability

  • 5+ years of building web applications using ReactJS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar areas of study

  • Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test driven development

  • Strong command of essential technologies: CSS, HTML, TypeScript, KnockoutJS, JQuery

  • Experience with RESTful or GraphQL APIs

  • Experience in design and building responsive UI

  • Experience in working in an agile environment to quickly iterate and deliver features to users
