Directors Derivatives Commodities

The Team:

The Market Data, Valuations and Analytics (MDVA) is a world leader in instrument level information spanning many different industry leading products including Totem, Portfolio Valuations and CDS and covering many different asset classes in both derivatives and fixed income.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Derive overall strategy for Commodities Derivatives, including working on the related commercial framework with Business Development

  • Build out a buyside data product for Commodities

  • Managing and building customer relationships across both the sellside and the buyside for Commodities

  • Host global industry customer events

  • Provide product-specialist support to products including Totem and OTCDD

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Masters in a mathematics/finance/quantitative discipline

  • 8+ years of Commodities Derivatives experience, preferably in Power and Gas markets

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Further education within the Data Science field including Python.

  • Project management qualification such as Prince

  • Additional professional qualification such as CA, CIMA, CFA or FRM

A successful candidate should also possess the following traits:

  • Independent, organized self-started who can communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

  • A strong, confident collaborator prepared to break down silos.

  • Inquisitive, interested to engage in new topics and technologies.

  • Flexible and able to adapt to an industry that is ever evolving
