As we look to put our people first at S&P Global and inspire our 21,000 employees globally to realize our vision of Powering the Markets of the Future, this position will be responsible for working with senior executives within the corporate functions of S&P Global on their individual and organizational communications. We are looking for an experienced communicator to develop strategic messages and tailored communications plans to effectively position our executives as functional experts and thought leaders within the organization.
The candidate will have a track record of working effectively in a global, highly matrixed environment and building strong professional relationships with senior leaders and multiple other stakeholders to gain buy-in on communications approaches.

You will report into the Culture & Engagement team as part of the People function and operate in close alignment with corporate, divisional and regional communications teams, as needed.
The candidate should be an exceptional writer and storyteller, able to transform ideas into internal memos, blogs, video scripts and talking points that elicit the desired emotion or action from our people. He - she will be responsible for prepping executives for town halls, employee roundtable sessions and other events, as well as provide guidance on functional communications such as newsletters and organizational announcements. He - she will also take ownership for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of these efforts via surveys and other methods.
At least 8 years communications experience, with significant focus on internal communications including executive communications
Experience working globally in a large multinational or agency environment
Develop KPIs to measure success and uses data and insights to inform communications decisions, influence stakeholders and demonstrate results
Effectively manages priorities and level of service to our internal customers
Executes to the highest of standards, with strong attention to detail and deadlines
Bachelor s or equivalent university degree
Excellent writer with ability to capture leaders personal communication styles
Strong interpersonal skills; easily builds trust and inspires confidence from senior leaders
Creativity and willingness to try new communications formats and push the boundaries
