The Role: Vendor Management Sr. Specialist (Global Sourcing & Procurement)

The Impact: The Vendor Management Sr. Specialist role is responsible for managing the Approved Vendor Program, vendor performance monitoring, vendor risk assessments and adverse events. The Vendor Management Sr. Specialist will assist the business stakeholders and Global Category Managers (GCM) on the vendor selection thru the approved vendor program.

Overall, the Vendor Management Sr. Specialist will contribute to the success of our program by ensuring effective vendor risk controls, monitoring and risk mitigation.

The Team: You will be part of the growing Enterprise Vendor Management Team in Manila, Philippines under the Global Sourcing & Procurement Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Management:

  • Partner with Vendor Managers, Engagement Owners, Vendor Risk Management and Technical Team to support the program on creating a robust performance monitoring program to ensure that vendors are performing based on their contractual obligations.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and address any performance issues including SLA tracking.

  • Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to drive vendor accountability and ensure service quality.

  • Assist on building the Approved Vendor Program which will help the business and Sourcing Team on vendor selection.

  • Monitor and manage contract renewal and expiration to ensure sufficient time for renegotiation, termination, and conversion to new supplier as desired by the business unit.

Project Management:

  • Identify opportunities to optimize vendor relationships and streamline the processes.

  • Generate regular reports on vendor performance, key performance indicators and metrics.

  • Develop a robust vendor qualification and recertification process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, supply chain management, information technology, or a related field required.

  • Minimum of 5 years in a professional procurement function or vendor management experience

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management

  • Demonstrable experience in building strategic partnerships both internally and externally with key stakeholders and vendors with deep knowledge of vendors and trends.

  • Must have experiencing using e-Sourcing tools (e.g. Ariba, Oracle, etc.)

  • Flexible in work schedule. However, primary shift will be 5pm-2am

  • 2-3x On-site work
