S&P Global Senior Director, Global Infrastructure Transformation in Princeton, New Jersey

S&P Global is seeking a Senior Director of Global Infrastructure Transformation, reporting to the Global Head of Infrastructure Engineering,. This is a key senior leadership leading the team responsible for infrastructure transformation. A successful candidate will manage the delivery of key transformation objectives and will partner with all lines of business to provide high quality solution delivery, exceptional project execution, and approaches and processes that align with the financial goals of the organization. The leadership position will seek to balance both business alignment and centralized technology products and services across the firm. The goal is to meet the unique needs of specific lines of business and also meet the demand to leverage global economies of scale across the firm.


  • Merging technology and application knowledge and industry best practice and experience to lead technology transformation initiatives

  • Serve and liaison between technology lines of business, central infrastructure, and finance to ensure prioritization, budget, and excellence goals are met

  • Use data-driven analytics to measure current performance and project quantifiable improvement targets

  • Manage a project portfolio designed to meet organizational objectives

  • Partner with technology and business leaders to ensure solutions delivered improve client service quality

  • Participate in divisional strategy, vision, and best practice development and scorecard efforts

  • Comfortable overseeing project portfolios owned by other towers


  • Master s Degree preferred with 12 years of experience or Bachelor s degree in Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant degree and 15 years of industry experience

  • Experience providing infrastructure services including network, storage, and compute for complex, distributed enterprises in the financial services industry

  • Hands-on experience in software defined infrastructure and cloud technologies

  • Deep understanding of technology finance

  • Must be familiar with data center facilities and have experience running data center migration projects for large financial enterprises

  • Prior experience transforming legacy technologies required

  • Must be experienced with infrastructure service management and infrastructure automation technologies

  • Must be familiar with innovation in infrastructure services ecosystem including the network and how to apply innovations to solve unique challenges in a complex enterprise like S&P Global

  • Prior experience managing networking and engineering and operations in a large enterprise is critical to success in this role

  • Proven experience in operational excellence and prior track record of improving infrastructure availability

  • A continuous learning mind set is crucial

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • Proven project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders on complex technology issues and project initiatives
