S&P Global Ratings is seeking an individual with a background in financial - credit analysis to join its Financial Services (Financial Institutions and Insurance ratings) team in our Tel Aviv office. Background in accounting and audit would be an advantage.
The candidate will have the potential to quickly gain an understanding of S&P s rating methodology, policies and procedures as well as knowledge of qualitative and quantitative aspects of Financial Institutions and Insurance ratings analysis. The candidate will support senior analysts in performing rating analysis and credit research.

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:*
A degree in Finance - Economics or another relevant subject area
Solid knowledge of credit analysis mechanisms and accounting principles;
Good knowledge of computer software, in particular excel.
Some experience in the field of corporate finance, corporate lending or audit may be a plus but is not a pre requisite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A strong and demonstrable interest in corporate finance
Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English
Analytical capacity and good attention to detail

Support analysts in assigned credits within a portfolio for research activities.
Work confidently with group applications and perform financial modelling.
Develop and maintain databases and assemble - research pertinent financial, technical and other data essential to debt rating activities, reviews and publishing.
- Ensure all guidelines, quality, procedures and policies are adhered to for all credit rating activities.
